The Ceremony: The Chicory Wedding Venue
The Chicory wedding Venue on South Peters hosted a beautiful wedding for Danielle and Kaleb in March. The ceremony took place in the Parlor Room which was illuminated with a neutrally grand blend of colors. The ring-bearers announced the brides astonishing walk down the isle with a sign “Here Comes the Bride.” The bride made her way down a candle lit isle accented in gold to her awaiting groom. The pure colors went together humbly with the tan brick and wood, giving the ceremony a very warm feel. The bridesmaids wore royal blue for this royal wedding, each caressing beautiful bouquets of flowers.
The Reception: The Chicory Wedding Venue
After the marriage Danielle and Kaleb’s wedding went out with a bang! They celebrated their marriage afterwords with a New Orleans style party from South Peters the way to Fulton Alley. The brass band started a party and getting to experience a second line showed some of the Texas couple’s friends and family an awesome part of the culture of New Orleans. The brass band escorted the party through the French Quarter playing traditional New Orleans sounds. With masks, beads, partying and a whole bunch of music, the second line celebrated through the French Quarter, full of smiles, fun and good music!
