Ashlyn and Doug are a unique pair. They did not conform to wedding conventions in almost any way, which is something that keeps my job all the more fun and interesting. They had an awesome time celebrating their love and commitment to each other with a New Orleans Elopement. Their ceremony was short and sweet, as they said their vows in front of the St. Louis Cathedral. They really inserted their own personalities into their wedding. Some of the details that separate this pair from your typical bride and groom were Ashlyn’s bright red dress with black beaded embroidery and Doug’s bandana. We went into a cemetery to get some portraits, which was like being inside of a gothic novel with a romantic twist. We perused sights and scenes throughout the French Quarter and had an awesome time getting some portraits that Ashlyn and Doug will have to remember their special day by. All in all, I love their style and I love their attitude. These guys were definitely made for each other.
