Mandy & Chad – Covington wedding photographers
Jessica and John had a beautiful ceremony at the Chateau Country Club. Artist Andrew Wilkie painted a live painting of the couple that will always be a token to remember their special day with. Speaking of “tokens”, the cool Mario cake really racked up the points for their wedding. With the family being big LSU fans, they really loved the purple and gold cake! Jessica rocked the Fleur De Lis boots, another symbol of Louisiana pride. The whole family had a great time and the ceremony represented the couple’s interests wonderfully. I really enjoyed shooting Jess and John’s wedding!
Sam and Matt had a “Doctor Who” themed wedding at the Imperial Room. Even though it was located in New Orleans, it was pretty out of this world. Being big fans of the popular British show, the couple really made their wedding stand out with the cake and the props. For the cake design, the London Police Box that the Doctor travels through time in was placed at the top. Along with that, they had their own “sonic screwdrivers”! I really enjoyed photographing this cool wedding and with memories like the ones that were created, Sam and Matt are going to want to hop in the Doctor’s “Tardis” and travel back in time to do it all over again.
At the beautiful St. Dominic Church, Brandi and Stephen had an intimate wedding. The two young doctors, who met in medical school, knew that the gorgeous church in New Orleans would be the perfect place for them. Back in medical school they’d attend mass together at St. Dominic’s and the church was a memorable place for their black and white wedding. After the ceremony, the Chateau Country Club welcomed the newly joined family to celebrate. Brandi and Stephen had an awesome reception party full of dancing and good times. Stormy Band rocked the place! I really had a fun time photographing their wedding would love to do it all over again.
