Kevin + Leanna – Jackson Square Proposal
This proposal is one of the most romantic and heartfelt ones I have seen. Kevin called me wanting to propose in Jackson Square. He had the idea to work with an artist in the French Quarter to pop the question, and thankfully I had one in mind. He commissioned the artist to make a painting that included the text “Leanna, will you marry me?” As they walked by the artist’s set up in the French Quarter, they stopped to take a closer look and right as Leanna began to read the words, Kevin got down on one knee (she said yes). She was so surprised and happy; it made my week. Being able to capture these kinds of moments makes me so happy and grateful to be a photographer. After he popped the question, we walked around the French Quarter getting some portraits of them to commemorate such an awesome day.

Nikki + Chad – Surprise proposal – New Orleans wedding photography
Chad called me a few days before Valentine’s Day and was very excited to propose to Nikki. They were visiting New Orleans for the weekend and he wanted to pop the question. His plan was to propose to her in Jackson Square in front of the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral. He proposed the day after Valentine’s Day with a card that asked “Will you marry me?” It was nice to capture the happiness between the newly engaged couple and I am looking forward to the wedding.
